WASHINGTON TRIP

We got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Bowman and Uncle Brent. Grandma made some yummy homemade chicken noodle soup. We had pie, christmas cookies, and a lot of fun.
Aaron and I took a short trip for a night to go fishing while the kdis got to have some special time with Grandma and Grandpa B, Aunt Alain, and their cousins Ethan, Cody, and Copper. They had a fire. They had so much fun! They are already asking when they get to go back.

Allie loved Black Bear and surprisingly Black Bear loved her.

Jace got to work with Grandpa so he could do his show and tell on different jobs around the world.

This was the only picture I had of Aaron with a fish- so this is all you get of him.

I had a hard time picking which picture to put on of me with a fish. I had so many pictures. Just don't bring this up to Aaron, it is still a touchy subject. We had so much fun though and we are so grateful that mom and dad Bowman watched the kids for us.They are so awesome.

Random Sampler

2009 Hallowee- We have Batman, Hannah Montana, and Skeleton.
Jace's trophy presentation for flagfootball. He did great and made lots of touchdowns.

Go BSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My kids follow in their mom and dad's footsteps- Love sports. They wear their clothes faithfully on the days BSU has a game. It is so cute.

Major Update

Even though I did not post pictures, Aaron did still kill a deer hunting.

Even though I did not post pictures, my kids did still start school.

First Grade

Preschool

I have had many people giving me a hard time because my last post (which was 6 months ago) was a spaghetti night, so they are wondering if every night is a spaghetti night. So, in answer to some of my friends question- No, we have not had spaghetti every night for the last 6 months. So I am bringing an update to the table.

Life has been busier than usual. Through much thought and prayer I have decided to go back to work part time. I haven't worked using my nursing degree for about 5 years and we have really felt that I needed to put my foot back in the door to keep up on my education. The hospital I am working for will provide classes and training. Aaron and I feel it is a great opportunity for me. It will take some extra planning and hard work, but I think it will be great. I will be training for about six months 2 to 3 days a week, but once that is done I will just work as they need me and how ever often I would like. I am really excited. I will be working in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and nursery. So------ If I don't post pictures for HALLOWEEN, rest assured that my kids did still dress up, have a halloween party, and go trick-or-treating!
Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Spaghetti night

I had to post these pictures. Even though it made for a messy and long clean up, it was worth it for the photos.

Don't touch me or anything I own please!

The three little pigs skit night

Our ward did an adult party night with skits, dancing, singing, and all that jazz. So my friends and I decided to put together a skit. We were the 3 pigs and the wolf. It was pretty funny.

Burn Wound

These are pictures of Jace's burn 4 days after the accident happened.

For those of you that didn't hear the story, here you go:
We were up skiing at bogus and we put some hot water in a cup of noodles. We got the hot water from the lodge's kitchen. I put the cup of noodles on the table and Jace and his cousin were not paying attention. Needless to say, Jace knocked the cup of noodles off the table and it spilled on his leg and he got a really bad burn. I should have taken pictures when it first happened, but I didn't really think about it. He has been in a lot of pain, but he is a tuff guy.
Good thing Grandma and Grandpa Bowman send this adorable bear so Jace has something to squeeze while we care for the wound. Thanks so much.

Fishing at the Clearwater

Aaron and his friend Adam took a much needed trip to the Clearwater to catch some great big fish. Aaron has been working so hard and so much he really deserved to get away for a day.
What a GREAT CATCH (I am not talking about the one with the gills, I am talking about the hotty!)

Worn out!

We had cousins and grandparents up for the weekend and I think we wore Allie out!

Changing poopy diapers!

NEED I SAY MORE!

Teaching the children to ski

We have been really excited to teach the kids how to ski so we finally we took on the task. They had so much fun and they both did so well. It was awesome! It was so cute watching the little bodies going down the hill.

Finally, first tooth comes out

Jace (6 years old) finally lost his first tooth (besides the one that had to get pulled). He was so excited. Now Allie can't wait for her first tooth to fall out.

Christmas 2008

Well, after we got back from the cruise there was no time to pause. My mom and dad stayed in Boise for Christmas because the plane could not fly onto Idaho Falls due to the weather. So that was fun times. We spent Christmas Eve at my sister's house in Nampa along with my parents and then spent Christmas Day at our home. And yes we did get a dog for Christmas. She is a yellow lab and her name is Cassie Belle. Then we headed up to Chelan, Washington on Christmas day to spend the weekend with Aaron's family. We rented a nice place there and enjoyed hot tubbing, sledding, tubing, snowmobiling, dancing, and lots of family fun. It was a blast. Enjoy the slideshow below.

Cruise

So we got back from our Cruise and I am still getting caught up on somethings, as you can see. We left December 13, 2008 and flew to Florida where we ported out at Port Canavaral on the 14th. We were at sea for about 36 hours which brought us to Labadee, Haiti. Then we went to Ochios Rios, Jamaica then Georgetown, Cayman Island then Cozumel, Mexico. It was so awesome. We finally made it home late, late on the 22nd. Thanks to my mother-in-law who made this all possible (she was the brave one that watched the kids the whole time while we were gone.). We couldn't have done it without her- Thank you mom. Don't forget to see the slideshow below.

Wood floors here we come!

Here is the final result of the wood floors. It was a lot of work (for the boys), but it turned out great. Good thing we finished it just in time for us the leave on our cruise. What a work in progress.

We added painting the walls on top of all this mess.

OHHHHHHHH! What have we done and what do we do next.
