Major Update
Even though I did not post pictures, Aaron did still kill a deer hunting.
Even though I did not post pictures, my kids did still start school.
First Grade
Preschool
Life has been busier than usual. Through much thought and prayer I have decided to go back to work part time. I haven't worked using my nursing degree for about 5 years and we have really felt that I needed to put my foot back in the door to keep up on my education. The hospital I am working for will provide classes and training. Aaron and I feel it is a great opportunity for me. It will take some extra planning and hard work, but I think it will be great. I will be training for about six months 2 to 3 days a week, but once that is done I will just work as they need me and how ever often I would like. I am really excited. I will be working in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and nursery. So------ If I don't post pictures for HALLOWEEN, rest assured that my kids did still dress up, have a halloween party, and go trick-or-treating!

I have had many people giving me a hard time because my last post (which was 6 months ago) was a spaghetti night, so they are wondering if every night is a spaghetti night. So, in answer to some of my friends question- No, we have not had spaghetti every night for the last 6 months. So I am bringing an update to the table.

No more training wheels
Well, Allie has been determined to take her training wheels off and learn to ride. She only turned 4 back in november so I thought she was too young. I kept pushing it off because I didn't want to worry about her falling all the time. I also didn't feel like running up and down the street tons of times, but she persisted and I finally took the training wheels off. She did so awesome! I was amazed. She picked up on it so quick. It is so cute to see her ride and she gained a lot of confidence by accomplishing this task. Go Allie!

Burn Wound
These are pictures of Jace's burn 4 days after the accident happened.
For those of you that didn't hear the story, here you go:
We were up skiing at bogus and we put some hot water in a cup of noodles. We got the hot water from the lodge's kitchen. I put the cup of noodles on the table and Jace and his cousin were not paying attention. Needless to say, Jace knocked the cup of noodles off the table and it spilled on his leg and he got a really bad burn. I should have taken pictures when it first happened, but I didn't really think about it. He has been in a lot of pain, but he is a tuff guy.
Good thing Grandma and Grandpa Bowman send this adorable bear so Jace has something to squeeze while we care for the wound. Thanks so much.

Christmas 2008
Well, after we got back from the cruise there was no time to pause. My mom and dad stayed in Boise for Christmas because the plane could not fly onto Idaho Falls due to the weather. So that was fun times. We spent Christmas Eve at my sister's house in Nampa along with my parents and then spent Christmas Day at our home. And yes we did get a dog for Christmas. She is a yellow lab and her name is Cassie Belle. Then we headed up to Chelan, Washington on Christmas day to spend the weekend with Aaron's family. We rented a nice place there and enjoyed hot tubbing, sledding, tubing, snowmobiling, dancing, and lots of family fun. It was a blast. Enjoy the slideshow below.

Cruise
So we got back from our Cruise and I am still getting caught up on somethings, as you can see. We left December 13, 2008 and flew to Florida where we ported out at Port Canavaral on the 14th. We were at sea for about 36 hours which brought us to Labadee, Haiti. Then we went to Ochios Rios, Jamaica then Georgetown, Cayman Island then Cozumel, Mexico. It was so awesome. We finally made it home late, late on the 22nd. Thanks to my mother-in-law who made this all possible (she was the brave one that watched the kids the whole time while we were gone.). We couldn't have done it without her- Thank you mom. Don't forget to see the slideshow below.
