Jump Creek

On Saturday we went to Jump Creek. It is about 1/2 hour away.It is a small hike into the waterfall.Once you get there is it awesome. There is small lagoon to swim in when you get there.
There was lots of cool caves and small places where the creek ran through the rocks and caves.
Jackson was awesome and he absolutely loved being in the backpack on daddy.

The boys even talked me into shooting a gun- YUCK! I was resisting the whole way.

Then to top it off we went back to our place and we roasted hotdogs. Then had smores! YEAH!

Cute Comments from Kids

Hello everyone, I just had to share some of the cute comments kids make. The other day we were riding in our truck. Jace , my oldest son (5yrs), says, "mom, what brand is our truck?" I said,"what do you mean" He said, "what is the brand of our truck?" I said, " it is a Ford." He said well does that mean that our truck can't go backward." He thought I was saying Forward- "get it." Then the other day Allie (3 yrs) was back -talking me and i told her that I was going to put a bar of soap in her mouth if she kept back- talking me. This was her reponse- it is hilarious. You have to imagine her sassy self that she can sometimes be. She said," Well, if you put soap in my mouth, then I will have to go to the hospital and see the doctor and I will die and then you will have to buy a new Allie." Needless to say she didn't get the bar of soap because Aaron and I didn't exactly have a quick answer to that one. Kids are crazy and they say the cutest things.

Luau Fun

The Scouts had a Luau fundraiser dinner where they slaughtered a whole pig then cooked it the real Hawaiian way. They put rocks inside it and around it and cooked it over fire. Crazy, but it was good. I didn't look at the pig until after dinner or else dinner would have been skipped (if you know what I mean.)

Past fun

Here is a photo that was from before I had Jackson. I thought it would be funny for all to see. This is on our trip to Cancun when i was 7 months pregnant. It was still a blast though. The first photo is of my hubby and me on mopeds. Yes, I still rode even though I was pregant. Then next photo is of my mother, doesn't she look awesome. She did great. You can also see my sister Julie and her hubby and my dad in the back there.

Kids

Here are some photos of the kids. Jackson really wanted to be the Easter Bunny this year. This pic of Allie was taken after a day of shopping with mom for new clothes (which she loved). Then Jace is sporting his nice racquet ball attire when we worked out on our trip up to McCall.

Girl's Weekend Out

These are pics from our girl's weekend. NO KIDS except for nursing babies of course. It was just mom, sisters, and sister-in-laws. It was a blast. We did it here in Boise. We did lots of shopping, went to the pita pit, melting pot, played basketball (my team won of course),rockclimbing, cheerleading jump competition, and sprint racing. After all of this we were all sore due to aging. I think we all thought we were still in high school. Julie even pulled a muslce - whoops. We still had an absolute blast. I just am trying this out so here is a fun photo of my oldest son Jace fishing on the ponds. He is a natural at fishing, just like his dad. Or maybe I should say just like his mom- Ha Ha!

Just Getting Started

Well, I decided I better jump in with the wagon and do a blog so I can fit in- Ha Ha! It is like it is back in high school, just trying to fit in again.
